Applicaion:
It is used as an alkaline solvent in chemical industry and laboratory. A solution of pyridine with metallic salts or organometallic compounds, used as a complex catalyst for polymerization, oxidation, carbonylation of acrylonitrile, etc. Can also be used as silicone rubber stabilizer, anion exchange membrane raw materials. Used as corrosion inhibitor, pyridine has corrosion inhibition effect on metal, can be directly added to acid washing solution, using its adsorption effect to achieve corrosion inhibition. Used as analytical reagent, widely used as solvent, liquid chromatography elution agent. It is also used in organic synthesis.
